The CEQ Prerequisite for Primary AEIS

Are you applying for Primary 2 to Primary 5? The Ministry of Education now strictly requires all international applicants to take and pass the relevant Cambridge English Qualification (CEQ), such as the A2 Key (KET) or B1 Preliminary (PET), before they can even submit an MOE AEIS application. Do not let this prerequisite delay your child’s admission. We provide dedicated training to clear this hurdle.

    Mastering the AEIS Exam Format

The biggest challenge international students face isn’t a lack of ability; it is the sheer rigor of the Singapore education system. The AEIS exam format is highly competitive, and students must be trained to answer questions exactly the way MOE examiners expect. Our AEIS tuition in Singapore bridges the gap between your home country’s curriculum and local standards.

    AEIS Math Syllabus Mastery
    (Primary & Secondary)

Singapore Mathematics is world-renowned for its difficulty. Mainstream schools use advanced heuristics and visual models that are rarely taught overseas. We rigorously train students in model drawing, spatial visualization, and complex, multi-step word problems so they can confidently tackle the hardest sections of the AEIS Math papers.

    AEIS Secondary English Excellence

For students applying for Secondary 1 to 3, the MOE still administers its own highly demanding AEIS English test. Our AEIS secondary English preparation course focuses heavily on sophisticated vocabulary, advanced grammar rules, comprehension techniques, and the strict structural requirements for Singapore-style argumentative and continuous writing.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between AEIS and S-AEIS?

The AEIS (Admissions Exercise for International Students) is the main examination held in September/October for admission in January of the following year. The S-AEIS (Supplementary AEIS) is held in February for students who missed the main exercise or were unsuccessful, for admission in April or May of the same year. We offer dedicated preparation courses for both.

The MOE does not release official passing rates, but the exam is known to be highly competitive because admission depends on the number of available vacancies in local schools. This is why enrolling in expert AEIS tuition in Singapore is crucial to place your child in the top percentile of applicants.

We strongly recommend starting at least 6 to 12 months before the exam date. For primary school applicants, you must factor in the time needed to prepare for, take, and receive results for the mandatory Cambridge English (CEQ) test before you can even register for the AEIS Math paper.

While parents must submit the official applications via the MOE portal themselves, our team provides full advisory support to ensure you know exactly when the registration windows open and what documents are required for a smooth submission.
